I just finished sorting my first swap cards from CardMaker...The main idea was to make six cards using the theme of BUTTONS N BOWS...I had 19 players included myself...
I had a lot of fun being the hostess and these ladies were great making fantastic cards...
I couldn't ask for a better group of creative and fun people....
I thought that sorting was going to be hard but it went fairly fast...my job was to make sure that everyone had six cards and not to send anyone their cards...Everything came together well...
I have two other swaps...one is to make bookmarks for each season and I already have some
and I must say they are great and the second one is six more cards with the theme using just the word CELEBRATE on the card they look good so far...
These gals have the greatest ideas and they come up with extraordinary cards or bookmarks...

Well I got news that I was tied for winning the CardMaker Weekly Challenge
TRASH TO TREASURE today...I won it with Jane and her card was awesome and so were the others
who did the challenge....what talented ladies and so happy to be part of this
group...
The support and ideas, plus the help from them is more than words can be said...
Every challenge gets better and better and I just love all of them...
They make me think outside of my comfort zone and I've learned so much from them...
I just wish we lived closer or even one day to meet them ALL....what a blast I
would have BUT I guess through computer it will have to be good for now...

There is not much to write about...
The screen porch has not progress much because the guy
we bought the wood from misunderstood the measurement
so this week was a bust....
I did clean out more on the site...the people that had the site
before us left a lot of rotten wood so that had to be cleaned
and I burned all the wood...
Vince is still out of work because of his shoulder but doing a little
better each day....
Hopefully we will be finish the screen porch by the end of the month
the mosquitoes are bad.....

Hello, I hope everyone had a very nice Mother's Day...
I was at the campsite and was very busy...we started to build
the screen porch and thanks for my son-in-law he was a big help...
My daughter and my two grand daughters came up and spent the day with us too..
it was somewhat a good sunny day but toward the end of the day it started to rain
and I mean really rain...so now we have a platform for the deck and hopefully
the screen porch will be done at the end of the month...It is shocking how
much everything cost...
Well have yourself a good day...I will post a picture of the camp site with the deck
soon...

Today is May 1st and it is my daughter Nicole birthday..
boy does time not fly by fast..too fast if I may say so...
I'm going to buy her lunch today but I have to bring
it to her house because she has a daycare....
So I'm going to bring a baked patotoe from Wendy's
then off to the pizza shop and get a pizza, garlic bread and
french fries...all of her favorites..she won't eat it all but she
will get plenty of help eating it...
I will give her money (that is my trend now to my daughters)
because this way she can get whatever she want...but she
also collects giraffe so I also got her a figurine...and I made her
card....Oh by the way she is thirty-three today.....
