Faux Tile Tutorial Time Challenge

Tutorial Time Challenge this week on Speedy TV is by Katie Wenger.

If there is one thing I like to do the most is to learn new technique...

This technique was fun and for the first time I used a simple

sunflower stamp.  I like that my ribbon matches the petals of the flower.

I also used a texture background paper that went well for this card.

This week challenge on Tutorial Time is by Lagene Sands and her tutorial is on Spirelli Accent...I used gold thread and accents for my card. I know for sure that I'm going to do more of these spirelli card cause they really turn out great...

Welcome to this week at Friends of Speedy TV Challenge...Ginny is the hostess and her challenge is to make a Birthday Card...I tried a new technique and cut out flowers and folded them in half...I used a vellum, pink & gray paper to do the flowers, silver vines and sentiment with a black background cardstock.

Simple Salutations Challenge # 50

Speedy TV Simple Salutations is to make a card with the theme of
trains, planes or automobiles. My card is with a plane cut out with my cricut machine backing it with a dark color paper and paper piercing...I used a scallop circle to make my clouds...This card will go a person who graduated with high honors.

Inspiration Challenge # 15

Inspiration Challenge this week is base on shoes...make a card from the inspiration that the hostess picked...
With the Fourth of July a month away I picked the good old REd, White & Blue colors for my card...
I colored my stars in blue and red leaving the background white. added a star ribbon to follow the theme and the sentiment "Celebrate"

Simple Salutations Challenge

This week challenge on Simple Saluations is to make a "Get Well" card...
I just bought this new Sizzix die cut of this bird with branch and it was on sale so this was a great deal..
I inked around my card and around the doily.  Added a 3-D wing and very small butterflies.

Friends of Speedy TV Challenge

This week on Friends of Speedy TV Challenge is make a card thinking about VACATION...I work in a school so I have the summer off...to me it's time to think about warm weather and going to the beach sitting on the sand and watching the grand-children play in the water...a wonderful day at the beach is having the sun (sitting under the umbrella) out.
I cut my sun (yellow) from my cricut machine, cutting a lt.blue base, adding the sun on with foam dots a simple stamped sentiment (Hi). I also used Peachy Keen Stamp Faces.
I can now smell the salt water air...LOL
