Cardstock: Recollections
Pattern Paper: DCWV
Ice Skate: Winter Woodland
Cricut Cartridge (cut @ 3 1/2)
White Computer Paper for the Folding
Snowflakes: Friskars Punch
String: DMC Embroidery Thread

Iris Folding has been my first love of card making,
I never turn the card around until I finish the folding
I like the surprise of the Iris Folding.

  2. What a fabulous card, well done Terrie! I like that you chose to use white paper for the skate, it reminds me of the old skates people used when I was a child. I also like the addition of the blue string for the skates laces, it coordinates well with the background. I've only tried iris folding a couple of times, but I always like the end result, I should resolve to do more in the new year.

  3. Wow, Wow, Wow!!!! Terrie, this is gorgeous! One of the first techniques I learned as a cardmaker was iris folding and I still have a love and appreciation for it! Absolutely beautiful job on this skate! Beautiful card! I don't think I'd be able to part with this one if I had made it!
