Through a friend of mine Lori on CardMaker gave a web site for making cards
for a children hospital...It's called Cards for Festival Of Trees...which if you make cards
they will sell your cards and all the profit will go for this worthy cause...so I decided

I mailed my cards out a few days ago and I hope that they can use them...You'll also get
30 or so digital image from Dustin Pike for making these cards..what a great deal..
Here is one of the cards that I made...I didn't use his image which was a choice he gave
but I made mine from the side of a tissuer box...with me working a few hours a day I have to strectch my paper supply so I decided to use what I had on hand..they came out pretty good if I may say so...

I knew this was going to happen...I have a cold...and I got it from
working with little kids...the germs that goes in there is just awful...don't get me wrong I love the job but these little people do not know how to use a tissue , everything is wiped with their hands
or with their sleeves of their shirt or sweater...
I am miserable and sneezing all the time....I'm on cold tablets and I need some sleep..
but if I sleep nothing gets done...but I had soup for supper cause I didn't want to make anything...
Well so this is life with the little people...I hope that I didn't give to my grand daughter Emily
cause I gave her a big kiss yesterday...I'm crossing my fingers that she doesn't get it....

We are having another crop challenge on Card Maker in October 22nd-24th...We are going to have lots of fun and lots of technique to learn from...
There will be new ideas on how to make cards and craft items...

Well it been seven days since I started this job and it's not as bad as these ladies
made it out to be....They are very active children but I understand why...they are so
contained in the class room all day long then once they leave their classroom they think it is fair game to be in a jungle (per say)...there is a few kids that are really off the wall but overall they are pretty
good...
Right now the weather is very nice so they can go outside and play for an hour so that is
good...so then at 3:30 the older kids go inside to the homework room so we lose half of the kids who play outside...The little people who are in pre-k get tired fast because it is an all day
schooling for them....
I take it as a work day and some job are better than others...so to me it's a job....

I started a new job yesterday September 1st and boy I was so tired I went to bed early and I mean real early...I'm working at a extended day care at a school and I had to work 6.5 hrs
These little people can really talk and run without stopping...
Today September 2nd was a little easier..the key to these little people is to keep them busy so
we took out the LEGOS and that did it...I never saw these little people be so busy just doing LEGOS...We did go outside for two outdoor breaks and then more LEGOS...
Next week will be really busy and more little people....36 per room...God help me
But right now I really like it and the ladies are just awesome....

O.K. I'm back from my small vaca at the camp ground...
My two daughters Donna & Monique came plus two of my grand daughters
Emily & Savanah...It was fun to have them there...I play cribbage with
them and the little ones had fun in the pool and riding in the golf cart...
The weather was awesome and the night were cold but we all had
time to be together....
Saturday I had to come home cause my first grand daughter turned 9 yrs old
and we did celebrate her birthday...she is so beautiful and at her young age she really
love life...Last week we also celebrated her brother birthday he turned 7 yrs old...
Wow time is really going by fast....
My third grand child is 5 yrs old and she is going to school this September...
On another note I finished my friend Sher project for her daughter's
scrapbook...I'm pleased with it and I did goof in one corner but it does look good...
I can't wait for her to see...I did tell her it is finished but did not post on any site for her to see
I hope she is surprised when she gets it....

Okay so I'm not faithful to my blog...but lately I've been in the dump about everything
Do you ever feel like everything is going haywire? Well that is how I feel....
I've been umeployed for about 4 month and have no income coming in..
I had to do an appeal with the unemployment office and just doing this is making me sick to my stomach...I don't think I'm going to win and I should not have done the appeal...
I don't talk about it with my family or friend cause it was my doing to leave my job..
It was so stressful and hostile that I had to leave...I don't regret that part..
But looking for a job is a big thing espcially with the economy...but I'm not the
only one going through this...alot of people are having a hard time with the economy...
There is time I want to stop my hobby of card making and just forget about everything..
I just want to sit around and cry but crying isn't going to solve nothing...all I would
get out of it is red and sore eyes...hahaha
Well enough of oh pity me...even writing this hasn't helped..oh well what can I do...
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day...
I've always said that there is always someone worth off them me...
